Invader Exhibition at the International Centre of Graphic Arts (MGLC)

Invader’s influence upon contemporary art is undeniable and far reaching- in the 20 some years he has “invaded” international cities with his mosaic tile compositions, the artist has established himself as a key figure spearheading the conversation about urban art’s relationship with public spaces.

Invader has expanded his oeuvre to incorporate other materials into his creative process. The International Centre of Graphic Arts (MGLC) has amassed a very special exhibition of his works on paper titled “Invader: Prints on Paper” that is on view from now till 15 August 2021.

Complimenting his urban artworks that shine light on impermanence within city settings, the paper artworks provide another aspect into the fragmentary nature of art with materials that are vulnerable to time. The artist collaborated with the London publisher Pictures on Walls (POW) to create original print editions that bring his mosaic compositions to life. These works are part of the collection.
