Adidas has invited Lucien Smith to design 200 limited edition leather sneakers inspired by the artist’s series of Rain Paintings. He applies a similar technique of spraying fire extinguishers filled with paint onto the freshly white shoes, thereby transforming each pair into a wearable work of art.

All the proceeds from the sale will go to Serving the People, a nonprofit digital community that is overseen by the artist. The organization provides mentorship for young artists and facilitates their creative goals by showcasing their works on the online platform.

The sneakers will be available on Thursday, June 10th at noon EST on stp.world & sneezemag.com
