Zhivago Duncan is a Syrian-American multi-disciplinary artist whose work spans a wide range of mediums including elaborate large-scale paintings, raku ceramic sculptures, kinetic dioramas and immersive installations.

The unifying conceptual thread running through Duncan’s work is the exploration of the evolution of human consciousness and the construction of reality through culture.

Duncan creates his own distinctive mythology by incorporating elements on ancient myths, physics, metaphysics, astronomy, artificial intelligence and contemporary philosophy into his work.
