Cleon Peterson Part of Retrospective Exhibition at Cranbrook Art Museum
Cranbrook Art Museum’s newest exhibition is a retrospective titled “With Eyes Opened: Cranbrook Academy of the Arts Since 1932” that looks back on the history of the Academy with more than 250 selected artworks that represent the different programs of study. LA based artist Cleon Peterson received his MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art. The museum invited him to create a mural on the building’s walls as part of the retrospective exhibition.
With Eyes Opened: Cranbrook Academy of Arts Since 1932 is on view from 18 June to 19 September 2021.
