Giving new ideas to old themes may be a great way to continue the classics. American artist Jonathan Edelhuber recently held Hong Kong’s first solo exhibition “Something Old, Something New” at Over the Influence , bringing together a series of still life paintings and sculptures that combine his signature creative elements and art history.

Jonathan Edelhuber works in mixed media, drawing, sketching and sculpting with elements of Picasso and Matisse’s modernist themes, infused with pop interest from comics and cartoons.
